CYBERJAYA, 21 May 2008 – The Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) today announced an agreement with HP under which the company will set up a 60-acre campus in MSC Malaysia located in Cyberjaya, near Kuala Lumpur.  

KUALA LUMPUR, 17 May, 2008 – American International Group, Inc. (AIG) announced today that one of its subsidiaries, AIG Software International Sdn Bhd (AIGSI), plans to establish a global shared services centre and data centre in Malaysia’s multi-super corridor (MSC).

The recently announced Global Services 2008 list finds four Malaysian companies awarded the highly coveted accolade, next to prominent names such as IBM, Accenture and Tata.

T-Systems chooses MSC Malaysia for next hub

German based company, T-Systems believes Malaysia to be one of the ICT competence centre and specificatlly its ooperations in the MSC Malaysia area, are a key enabler to deliver on this goal and the objectives by providing competitive shared services and outsourcing services in both, IT and telecommunications from there.

Vantage Point diversifies

The scene at Vantage Point Consulting Sdn Bhd's 10th anniversary celebrations in the Millenium Hotel (formerly Regent Hotel) on Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, was one of festivity. The theme for the soiree was Malaysian 60s, and VPC (as Vantage Point Consulting is often called) consultants were decked out in their finest period wear while the band crooned P Ramlee and other favourites from the era. While the fact that VPC is still hale and hearty at age 10 is definitely reason to celebrate, equally significant is the fact that it is event there at all, a point that did not escape the notice of CEO Rahim Osman. During his speech, he ticked off the list of VPC comtemporaries such as SLI and Plexus that, despite strong demand for SAP-related services for one reason or another, faded from the SAP consulting scene.

Pikom appoints industry leader as president
