Bragging Rights

Local Shared Services and Outsourcing (SSO) companies scored low in the Marketing Capability petal, as indicated in the SCORE+ exercise carried out last year.

Keeping the Score

According to the inaugural MSC Malaysia Score+ Programme (Score+), MSC Malaysia companies have very good business management and operation capabilities, while innovation is the weakest link, indicating the need for stronger focus on general creativity and ingenuity.
Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDeC), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SME Corp for a joint-effort to promote an open e-commerce platform for small- and mediun-size enterprises (SMEs).

“In providing programmes such as PHPacade.my and Marketplace.my, we now have set the stage to raise the skills and capabilities of Malaysian PHP developers. We certainly want to these professionals monetise their knowledge and improve Malaysia’s credibility as a source of high-level software development competencies,” added Mohamad.
